Join us for a panel of industry veterans to learn the truth about what kinds of distribution deals are actually possible for short films. Learn who is offering short films real deals and who to avoid. Also, find out how to navigate the film festival circuit to get the best publicity and fan base for your work. This panel will be a frank discussion on the state of the short film marketplace.

Moderated by Roberta Munroe (www.robertamunroe.com), author of How Not To Make A Short Film: Secrets From A Sundance Programmer. Panelists will include: Todd Luoto, Short Film Programmer, Sundance Film Festival; Scott Prendergast (2-time Sundance short filmmaker); Orly Ravid, The Film Collaborative. A frank overview of short filmmakers who have succeeded and/or failed miserably on the festival circuit and garnered distribution for their short that they were paid well for or never saw a dime. As well, we will cover the film festival circuit and what you need to do to succeed on it!
